About the Event
The word yoga means union and is rooted in mind-body practices. It is meant to bring about enlightenment by integrating the mind-body connection. Basic yoga involves physical poses, breathing, and meditation. Yoga can be a useful practice for people struggling with addiction or mental health issues, and can help sustain emotional health and well-being for all.
Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow. Arrive 5-10 minutes early to find your spot. No experience necessary. Come as you are! Registration not required, but appreciated. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
