WELCOME TO INSTITUTE OF HEALING ARTS
IPT RESEARCH STUDY 2023

I am so excited to announce that we have partnered with Erica Larsen (MA, CHES, MFT-I, IPT-F, IFS) who is a graduate of Institute of Healing Arts and is our principal investigator along with April Bennett, (MA, LMFT, CCTP, IPT-F). We are working with National University’s Institutional Review Board.

This research has been set up as a qualitative study that spans the last 25 years. Your participation could help us investigate the following:
  • Short-term and long-term effects of IPT processing.
  • Collective data that could move IPT from a practice based modality to an empirical based therapy.
  • Bring credibility to the sustained work of many IPT facilitators over many years.

There is only a short window that will allow us to gather data - so now is the time!

Below you will find the official invitation from Erica Larsen and National University.

I would like to personally thank you for your willingness to volunteer as a participant in this study.

Hello friends!

My name is Erica Larsen, and I am a graduate student at National University. I am conducting an online survey to explore the effects of Integrative Processing Technique on the wellbeing of recipients. To participate, you must be:

a) 18 years or older

b) have been or currently are a facilitator of Integrative Processing Technique

AND/OR

c) a recipient of one or more sessions of Integrative Processing Technique.

The survey is anonymous and should take about 10-20 minutes to complete. It will ask questions about your demographics and your experience with IPT Processing. If you are a facilitator or therapist there will be additional questions designed for your input.
