Coming Spring of 2026 - Emotional Health Kits for Kids

Updated: 6 days ago

Happy New Year Beautiful People!

Many of you know that I have a special needs daughter. Her name is Jamie and she is 33 years old now. She lives with us full time. We have a care taker that helps her during the day while I am working. She has brought so much joy into our lives. She has been one of my greatest challenges and my most rewarding teacher.

I want to deliver some of the simple gems of wisdom that I have gained because of my own parenting experiences and bring them into your homes via Emotional Health Kits for parents and children.

In Jamie’s early years, Janie had no language until she was 6 and struggled with many challenging behaviors. I had to “unlearn” many outdated parenting patterns and learn how to respond and communicate with her in better ways. We learned sign language and participated in the early days of the ABA program in our home. No matter what family challenges we are each faced with, collectively, the family parenting styles that have been passed down to us need to be updated and we get to be part of that change!

I have learned so much about brain function and IPT processing and have used this knowledge to support Jamie as her mom and as her advocate. She can express herself so much better now and can regulate her own moods, behaviors and emotions. In celebration of her progress over the years, I am dedicating this Children’s Emotional Health project to my darling Jamie Renae.

Many of you have heard me talk about Emotional Health Kits over the years, and finally I am excited to announce that we are launching a new product line called “Smart Hearts for Kids”. These Emotional Health Kits will launch in the spring of 2026. Smart Hearts for Kids will be available as a monthly subscription and each kit is designed to teach emotional health concepts and principles to children ages  7 – 11.

Each emotional health kit will include educational products that support emotional and social development. The subscription starts with a kit that includes an “All About Me Poster”, an “I Am Unique!” snowflake art project, as well as fingerprint art that teaches about the power of water and crystals. Several kits will include a self-directed mini-process complete with releasing heavy emotions through coloring, a clearing, and replacing the heavy emotions with a gift. Other items will be games, art projects, mazes, puzzles, and kid’s crafts that reinforce these concepts. Each kit also includes laminated recipe cards and mindfulness cards that can be collected over a 12-month subscription, as well as parent/caregiver tips.

Titles of each emotional health kit include:

  • All About Me

  • Friendly Feelings

  • Hungry Hearts

  • Seeds of Love

  • Emotional Guidance Detective

  • Shapes and Colors

  • MAD MAD MAD

  • Working at the Car Wash

  • Watching the Weather

  • The Work of the Bees

  • Under the Sea

  • The Power of Words

  • Emotional Math

Watch for more information coming in February. Thank you for joining Institute of Healing Arts and being a part of our community now for over 25 years. Together we have been committed to heal family patterns, and bring emotional health education forward on a larger scale to the next generation. We continue to be committed to certify IPT facilitators and we are currently enrolling for our January classes until January 23rd. You can learn more about how to sign up for our IPT Certification Course on our website. So excited about this beautiful work and looking forward to a great year in 2026.

Happy New Year!

Loves always,

Pam
