Here at IHA we have strived to provide a sense of BEE-LONGING to all those that have entered our doors as guests, clients and students. And even though we are saying goodbye to our beautiful space in Lindon, Utah, our IHA HIVE is still flourishing. We have been located in Lindon since 2005. We have experienced twenty years of sharing the IPT Process with thousands of people. This space has provided so many opportunities for healing and growth, for me personally, as well as with clients and students. We have held previews, Children’s Clinics, IPT Weekend Trainings and IPT Certification Classes and had many beautiful graduations that were held at our Lindon Campus.
Friendships and deep relationships were forged in that space and we still have so many students that stay connected with their trainers and fellow classmates. I love the IPT process and how beautiful it is to witness resolution and closure with issues that have caused so much pain and trauma.
IPT is similar to “The Work of the BEE’s”. Bees have a second processing system that includes a second stomach. Bees store nectar they have collected in their first stomach. This stomach is used to hold pollen that has been gathered. Using enzymes, the stomach breaks down the nectar and pollen and moves this mixture to the second stomach where it can be transformed into honey.
Like the bees, we go from “flower to flower” gathering experiences in life that are both bitter and sweet. We store memories and feelings about these experiences in our mind and our bodies until they can be digested at a later time. Some impurities and hurt that have been collected can be emotionally processed naturally and digested with ease in the first stomach.
However, there are some life experiences that have been traumatic, like neglect, abuse in all its many forms, betrayal or abandonment that may need more processing or digesting. In order to digest painful experiences, we need to breakdown what happened by using a second processing system, or like the bees, utilizing a second stomach. In order to access that second processing system, we need to talk about the painful experiences and release the heavy feelings of hurt, fear, anger, and powerlessness in healthy and safe ways.
We can use enzymes, like art, journaling, visualization, exercising or meditation practices and especially other therapies that can help us break down the pain and let it go. Using a variety of support, the pain is broken down into smaller pieces and it can be assimilated and digested a little bit at a time. By mixing enzymes that come with therapy and emotional release work like IPT, we CAN start to feel better. If we ignore painful experiences and refuse to work through the trauma in healthy ways, it turns into bitterness and self-destructive patterns. The unresolved issues and negative belief systems can become a virus that disconnects us from our true worth and value. Being aware of what helps you work through past pain and trauma and BEE-ING willing to do the work is so beneficial.
We encourage you to continue be involved in “The Work of the BEES” on whatever level you can invest in right now in your life. And remember, even though our IHA HIVE has moved, we will be here to support you and your friends and family as you continue to utilize the second processing system. Moving into the future and we will continue to utilize IPT. We will continue to be actively involved in harvesting the gold, by letting go of impurities and turning the hurt and trauma into joy and the sweetness that comes through healing.
We are now located at 796 Pacific Drive, Suite D, American Fork, Utah. Our phone number is the same 801.785.5259 and you can reach out and connect to us through our website at ihaofutah.com. Thank you for being such an active part of IHA and continuing to BEE-LONG to our HEALING HIVE.
May God bless us all in our individual and collective participation in “The Work of the Bees”!
Loves always,
Pam
