The Power Of The Small Group

Doing research for almost 25 years using THE INTEGRATIVE PROCESSING TECHNIQUE (IPT) and other modalities, I would like to add my voice to those who have also researched and validated that individualized approaches with small group work brings forward the greatest personal progress. I have found that we make the most progress in our personal growth and development when we are able to address our own stories and experiences, one-on-one AND in small groups. When we can establish a safe place and recognize that we are with people that care about us and that we trust, we are more likely to participate in releasing and replacing the misperceptions about ourselves and embrace the truth about our worth and value. In doing our personal work, one-on-one with a trainer or a fellow class member, our wounds heal and we start to experience emotional maturity and integration.

Participating in small groups and classes we learn about others who have had similar feelings and experiences, and we come to understand that we are not alone. In small group settings, we learn about how others have overcome their own traumas and still survived. We see their courage and their strengths and what they have been able to accomplish with their lives in spite of their pain. We are able to extend compassion and empathy to those in our small groups, at the same time being strengthened as we witness their personal growth. In small groups there is multi-level, dynamic learning. Those in our small group classes or units inspire us and offer hope as they reflect back to us, even our own successes and triumphs over adversity.

In small groups, there is multi-dimensional levels of learning. The curriculum can and does stand alone in what it can offer, but then add the learning that comes from small group discussions, personal interactions, as well as processing in labs inside and outside of the designated class times and you have an environment where explosive growth happens.

The Institute of Healing Arts offers both individualized personal work and work in small group settings. IT’S TIME TO JOIN A GROUP!

If you have been sitting on the sidelines and you are already aware of the value of emotional health and taking responsibility for our personal well-being it’s time to join a group! If you continue to find excuses as to why you couldn’t possibly participate, it’s time to focus on the reasons why you should!

  1. Our new class “THE ART OF LIVING HAPPY” (SHORT PROGRAM) 4-week class is specifically designed for small groups. These small groups are organized on campus, in satellite locations, as well as over the internet. This brings people together in such a way, that the group crosses beyond space and time and allows for us to meet in virtual class settings. These small groups include mentors that help and assist members of the group with a one-on-one individualized process as well as weekly check-in’s. With the workbook and the curriculum provided there is opportunity for accessing greater levels of sustainable emotional health and increased levels of happiness.

  2. IPT FOUNDATIONS WEEKEND TRAINING is a wonderful way to access information about muscle testing, the steps of the process and examining games and behaviors that self-sabotage your personal progress as well as identify the gifts that come out of our personal conflicts. You get to learn the complete “4-step process” and with the assistance of a coach, receive a process that is individualized to your specific needs. Learn how you can take charge of your “mind space”, manage your own automated thought systems and use that power to activate your full potential.

  3. IPT CORE CERTIFICATION COURSE (LONG PROGRAM) offers opportunities to participate in 4 quarters that are specifically designed to increase emotional intelligence and develop skills for sustainable emotional health. Not only do you learn the steps of the process in depth, but there is so much information about systems of the body and psycho neuro immunology, as well as personal development and growth. This is truly an amazing opportunity for boosted self-care and making a change in your life. And throughout the entire year, you get to participate in a small group setting as well as receive the personalized support you need as you address your own personal issues.

  4. THE GRADUATE SUPPORT PROGRAM is for all graduates who received their certificate of completion or facilitator’s certification since the year 2000. We meet together as a group on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month either in our satellite locations, or on campus, or in our virtual classroom settings. We discuss current advancements with The Process, invite in guest speakers, and focus on 18 lectures (with lecture notes) designed for graduates. We also focus on helping those graduates that are looking for ways to grow their business as they work to stay relevant in the field. We collaborate as graduates as we learn from each other and offer support for one another. We also encourage graduates to participate in the lab experience by exchanging processes with fellow grads.
