Our 20th anniversary allows us to embrace new and exciting changes! For the last 20 years, we have been providing a 645-Hour IPT Certification Course for facilitators. Throughout these many years, we have been offering emotional health education classes to mothers, fathers, and children as well as mental health professionals, counselors, therapists and social workers, etc. We are now offering an opportunity for mental health professionals to certify in the 645 hour Certification Course in a 3-level program called "The New WAVE".
This allows professionals in this field to attend and participate in the 1 year program with a flex option. This innovative approach allows IHA to partner with mental health professionals as we work to train more therapists in IPT Certification. Using a whole brain approach, we are preparing to train mental health professionals on a larger scale, so that the benefits of IPT can be experienced by more people.
I marvel that all this started with a simple healing process and a symbol of The Bright Red Bow. Symbolically, the bow is related to the integration of the right brain and the left brain. It also symbolizes wholeness and unity, integrity, and accessing the power of the integrated brain as the prefrontal cortex comes online. Today, we are seeing even a deeper meaning of that symbol as we witness an integrative approach to the emotional and mental health profession.
I am in a state of awe and deep gratitude as I have witnessed the blending of alternative modalities with scientific evidence-based techniques. As we unite our efforts to heal past patterns, release toxic emotions and embrace truth, we move into the future, understanding that “Together is Better".
I will be presenting another “Sneak Preview” on Tuesday March 10 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm at the Institute of Healing Arts in Lindon, Utah, which will include me processing a child. I will be processing a child as the demo. Come in person or join us on Zoom. We will be recording the event so you can attend at a later time if needed. Everyone is invited! Bring a friend!
